How we take care of you

StateAdvisors Solar is a national group serving families and small businesses across the United States. We design around your roof, your bill, and the people who live next door. When you send photos, your advisor, their manager, and our leadership can all see them right away so nobody has to ask twice.

What happens after you upload

Your files help us check your meter, understand your usage, and sketch a design that belongs on your street. If you need to replace a photo, open the same email link, delete a file, and add a new one. That link still works if you find the email again in the next two months.

What is the difference between purchasing or leasing my solar system?

StateAdvisors Solar is proud to offer homeowners various pathways to going green. For homeowners looking to purchase their system outright, StateAdvisors Solar uses a variety of private financing tools available to facilitate ownership. At the end of your loan term, you will own your system.

A solar lease allows our clients to avoid upfront costs of solar equipment and installation. Instead of paying for your new solar system outright as you would with the ownership option, homeowners who lease pay a fixed monthly amount for the electricity that their new solar panels and system will generate. Leasing helps make solar an accessible option for all — StateAdvisors Solar’s program is built to open that door nationwide.

I don’t think I want to purchase my solar system. Does StateAdvisors Solar offer a solar lease option?

Yes! We believe in the need to make our communities greener, which is why we’re working to help ALL homeowners go solar, regardless of their household income. Thanks to our lease options, we can help homeowners go solar — regardless of their credit or financial situation.

What if I do not generate enough electricity to meet my household needs on a given day?

If your solar system does not generate enough electricity to meet your needs on a given day, the public grid will cover your usage. When this happens, your net consumption is positive, and your utility bill will include charges for the amount of kilowatt-hours used. During these times, any banked energy credits that you have left over will be applied.

Will my system work at night or during the winter months?

Your custom solar system from StateAdvisors Solar will produce electricity during daylight hours. On cloudy overcast days or at night, your system will not generate electricity. During these times, power will be provided by the public energy grid. This is where the concept of “net metering” and your household’s banking of “energy credits” helps you offset less productive solar energy days.

Will my system work during a power outage?

Your system will only work during a power outage if you install a qualified battery system. As required by utility safety rules, grid-connected solar systems without such battery systems will shut down for safety reasons during a power outage.
